When I moved to NYC in the middle of the January 2018 blizzard, looking for an apartment, I immediately started noticing those “decisive moments” in the streets when bodies and architecture perfectly align. I had braced myself for some big city anonymity, but realized how down to earth and connected the residents of my Harlem neighborhood are – something that I hope these photos bring across.
